Dragon Age : Origins most definitley.
Its a really good and addicting RPG.

and depending on the type of character you choose

You have a storyline and things to follow.

Good game to get for christmas XBOX 360?
I'm looking for a good game to get for christmas. I just got skyrim when in came out. I'm a huge fan of rpgs and have played oblivion, mass effect 2 and dragon age. The Black Emporium DLC Offline Issue...?
My friend downloaded The Black Emporium for Dragon Age 2 (for Xbox 360) on my Xbox (but with her HDD) and it works online and offline - on my Xbox with her HDD.
If the HDD is placed in HER Xbox, the DLC only works online. When the Ethernet is unplugged, the game claims the DLC is "corrupt" - clearly it isn't because it works with various other setups.
I read one solution, which is to delete the DLC and reinstall it. Will that be safe? Won't the redemption code say it's been used?

Why do I feel so drowsy playing certain video games?
Recently its been happening again while playing Dragon Age 2 for xbox 360. I love the game and want to keep playing but it seems after a half hour i start to feel so drowsy this is a very uncomfortable drowsy where i gotta lay down immediately or it feels like I'm going to collapse. The other game I remember this happening was when I played one of the harry potter games for PS2 a long time ago and with a couple others but this is rare and always happens to games I love playing. I sit about 4ft away from the TV but other games don't bother me when I sit this close. Why is this happening when I play Dragon Age 2?

Since I just red ur ques I see u have creed 2 but Halo reach, Fable 3, and True crime 2010. All 3 of those look insane. I'll be getting reach as it is the last Halo while true crime was a jaw dropping game when it first came out so the saga to it should be cool. I put Fable in there because of the intensive storyline.

I just got Batman: Arkym Asylum.......enjoying it very much, haven't been gaming in a while so I'm definately loving the new graphics they have now.
I have both Dragon Age and Assassin's Creed 2. Both are excellent games. Dragon Age is for people who like RPGs and like to micro-manage their party. You travel the map with up to 4 characters in your party and in order to play the game well you need to keep track of all 4 characters moves and skills.
Assassin's Creed 2 is gorgeous and a lot of fun. Ubisoft fixed a lot of the problems they had with the first Assassin's Creed.
Both games are nice to look at, have good story lines, and will keep you busy for a long time.

i dont consider Dragon age to be an RPG because it lacks the main concept of an RPG, being able to roam about and have freedom.

I'll disagree with you about Dragon Age as an RPG (it definitely is, and the free roaming aspect is not necessarily an RPG hallmark) but will concede that it lacks the completely open roaming environment of Oblivion.
If that's more your speed, then Fallout 3 (from the same folks who brought you Oblivion) is a good choice. The world is fairly large and you are free to roam where you will and have random encounters with the wildlife, mutants, and gang members.
I will warn you that though they are great RPGs Fallout and DAO have something in common - once you reach the end of the main plot you can easily manage to put an end to yourself with the wrong choices. Even if you don't, without DLC, the game is over.
I will gnaw off my own arm before I pay for Two Worlds 2. I'm still pissed about Two Worlds 1.Whats a good RPG on the xbox? other than oblivion?

I was thinking of getting just cause 2 cause i have enough money. But I wonder if its going to be as good as it looks. I have the first one and its pretty cool. Any good RPG game recommendations for Xbox 360?

Oblivion is my favorite RPG game. You can free roam wherever you want, do tons of quests, and it has a huge map. Bethesda, the people who made Fallout 3, also made this game. Fallout 3 and Oblivion kinda play alike, but Oblivion is more medieval and alittle better I think. I like Fallout 3 a lot though.
Also, if you've only played Dragon Age 2, you should try Dragon Age 1. I heard it's really good, but I haven't played it myself.
And the last one that is kinda an rpg is the Mass Effect games. They play kinda like the Dragon Age games, but with guns.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is awesome. I have the 360 version. Got stuck though in Mascarand. Levers do not work. IGN posted that this is a bug in the game and that you should update the game thru xbox live in order to fix BUG. I went and updated game on Xbox Live and still the levers don't work in Mascarand. Also this is part of the main story line. I also bought the game of the year edition, loaded it and bug is still there please some one help with a suggestion. I was wonderring if I wipe out my game and restore my hdd if that will fix this BUG. Deus Ex is a good RPG, it is a bit similar to New Vegas. Also Mass Effect is a good choice.

My brother kicked my 360 over while I was playing Dragon Age 2. The disk works perfect up until I try to load the last save before I kill Orsino (thanks bro, gotta kill him on hard difficulty *again*). How can I fix it? Or will it work with a new save?

The 100% FREE ROAM aspect is vital to a role play game as well. You can go and do just about everything in a fully interactive post apocalyptic wasteland.

Dragon age: Origins- Awakening. Its a good solid 12 hours of a new campaign. Fun if you liked the first one... Not really worth the 40 extra bucks but eh--

Dragon age is easily the best game on this list, but Fable 2 is a very easy game and is quite good too.
Fable 2 is very cheap, so pick up DA:O and Fable 2.

My opinion might be a little longer than you would like so in short the games I recommend getting Fallout 3 and New Vegas, Red Dead Redemption, Assassin's Creed 1, 2, and Brotherhood, The Orange Box, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Halo Reach, Grand Theft Auto 4, Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion, and Soul Calibur 4.
If you can only get 5 games then at least get Fallout 3, The Orange Box, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Halo Reach, and Red Dead Redemption.
There are plenty of great games that have come out within the past few years and it all depends on what you like. Some of my personal favorites that will keep you playing for hours would be these games...
Fallout 3/Fallout New Vegas:
PROS: Great action rpg which includes over 50+ hours of gameplay. CONS: no multiplayer, has occasional bugs and glitches and long loading times (sometimes 30 seconds to a minute)
Assassin's Creed 1, 2, and Brotherhood:
PROS Amazing open world games with 15+ hour campaigns, 2 and Brotherhood include better side-quests, Brotherhood has multiplayer, in Brotherhood you can make your own guild of assassin's while ranking up in other guilds as well.
CONS: Free-running can be annoying if you mess up and die, in brotherhood the use of your assassins can be abused making the game too easy
The Orange Box
PROS: EPIC game including 5 GAMES in one package, includes Portal, Half Life 2, HL 2 Ep. 1, HL 2 Ep. 2, Team Fortress 2.
CONS: None
Red Dead Redemption
PROS: Long game with a 20+ hour campaign, many things to do, includes multiplayer.
CONS: Load times may get a little long but other than that none.
COD Black Ops
PROS: Explosive campaign with amazing multiplayer and zombie mode.
CONS: campaign is a little short, in multiplayer there are still noob tubers and campers, people boost in-game
GTA 4
PROS: 20+ hour campaign with a lot of stuff to do in between, nice cars, free roam, multiplayer

CONS: can get boring if you don't have 2 or more people to play with, getting the custom character gear can be tedious.
Halo Reach
PROS: fun campaign and forge mode is really customizable this time, great multiplayer

I think you should get one of these. Borderlands is an rpg and fps combination game. You get the most bang for your buck here. There is also Halo 3 Odst, the second best fps behind MW2. So I got dragon age origins for christmas and yesterday I must of played for 8-9 hours straight, this morning I started playing it and after about an hour it froze, then I let it sit for like 30 minutes, then it froze after about 2 hours of play. Alright, so im on the "entering jarvia's hideout" and this seems to be a common bug/error. I talked to everyone in the dust town offered silver//gold and i got some answers from people. After that, i walked into "Slums house" where i got ambushed and killed the leader knowing i would get the "FINGER-BONE" i didn't and i've been trying to find a way around this for about 2 days now. i re-talked to everyone even went to the door and found nothing. and i even re-entered the house to make sure i wasnt missing anything. But... not even a single skeleton remains.I'm on the XBOX 360 version not PC. so if anyone can help please please help.Dragon Age: Origins FINGER-BONE HELP!?

Right, so i have 2 questions:
1. I noticed that on Pc, whilst i shoot a bow, it does take some time to use skills such as Pinning shot or Scatter shot, whilst on xbox its almost instant, im not sure whether its my pc's performance, or whether i dont have awakening expansion or not, but does anyone know why this is so?
2. After a while of playing i get very long load times, i still havnt found a fix for it yet, and it has been goin on for ages, ive been looking on internet for a long time, but no resolve yet, anyone know any solutions?Dragon Age: Origins/Awakening?

On the second part, it's a fairly easy fix. Just save, exit the game completely, and open it again. It should be back up to speed, but I still have no idea what causes it. I suppose it does help a little. It keeps you saving often enough. (though it is a pain)

Xbox Live demo won't download?
I've been trying to download the dragon age 2 demo on my xbox and the download (firstly) stayed at 1% then I went downstairs, came back up and the download wasn't there anymore, so I downloaded again but same thing after about 5 minutes
So I turned off my xbox, deleted the demo downloaded bits and tried it again, this time it got to 4%, then the download just stopped and disappeared again.
What gives?Xbox Live demo won't download?
This can happen if you have bad network connection, or if too many things are using the internet. You might also want to check the storage space on your xbox.

I'm trying to decide whether I should get this game on xbox or PC. PC seems like it would be alot better for this type of game but I don't know if my computer is good enough to make it worthwhile. Here are the specs:
VISTA MINIMUM SPECS

* CPU: Intel Core 2 (or equivalent) running at 1.6Ghz or greater
* RAM: 1.5 GB or more

PC...just buy yourself an HD4770 (with 512mb of GDDR) for $100(US) or so, and a 1gb stick of RAM (about $20 or less). Your X1300 is on-board, so you're loosing the 128mb that it "has" from your system memory.
The 2.0 dual core you're using will limit you in part, but the X1300 chipset and the fact you have a total of 1gb of memory (and it wants a bare bones minimum or 1.5gb) will in general, likely prevent you from playing.
The upgrades I've mentioned, while placing the game far above the extra $10 to play on X-box (even with the added cost of LIVE), will aid you in future with other programs...

Should i buy games on the xbox or PC?
I am interested extremly in the graphics of the game, so should i buy the latest games (like crysis 2, dragon age 2, etc...) on my xbox, or my HP laptop with i5-430 2.26ghz, 4gb ram, and 2 x HD 5650 graphics card ? although i cant play crysis 2 on very high, but my HP compared with the xbox, which on gives the better quality and sharpness in the image ! thanks, and the xbox, i do have an HD tvShould i buy games on the xbox or PC?
Well, overall games usually look better on computer, and a lot of people prefer the keyboard and mouse over the remote for some games, (usually First Person Shooter Games). That being said, if RTS or MMO's are what you like then PC. Their are some for 360 like BFME 2 and Halo RTS but they usually don't play well. And with Computer if you do want to use a remote you can use a 360 controller.
However, PC has one very big pitfall. It crashes. Games on computer are riddled with things to crash over. With consoles that is usually never a problem unless the Disk is messed up. You never get to the end of a level and get error code 1255662 application terminated.
But, the reason why I play PC games over consoles is because of Mods. RPGs are always to be played on PC because usually you can always expand upon your game.
Your Computer should play games fairly well, Ram isn't to high and a lot of computers today can hold about 8 GB's and that would really help with games if you needed it to.
Don't look at Crysis to see if you can game on Computer, It's settings are still on top, I think even higher than Crysis 2's. Crysis 2 from what I have heard looks better than the first but doesn't require as much hardware, that is what time does.
Over all, I like to get games on PC over consoles because I like the Keyboard and Mouse, the more customization options, and the Modding community. 2. Are the PC achievements different from the Xbox and PS3 Trophies? I saw someone on the Bioware with the signature "Unstoppable'' Achievement Unlocked. I guess this is for clearing the game on Nightmare.Regarding Dragon Age II?
1. There is no good/evil system, just friendship and rivalry with your companions. Though sometimes, your responses to previous conversions can unlock special ones down the line. It could be if you acted sarcastic or aggressive, etc.
2. All of them have the same achievements/trophies, except for the platinum trophy for the PS3 version (gain all other trophies in the main game). And the other person is incorrect, it's not for making it to Kirkwall without anyone being knocked down, it's for not having anyone knocked down in a single Act (period of gameplay between two sets of long periods of time, these periods are just fast forwarded with Varric's storytelling).Regarding Dragon Age II?

Should I get two worlds 2? Xbox 360?
I love Dragon Age
Don't like fallout 3 or new vegas
Played oblivion for a couple hrs and didn't like it that much

It's really fun and you have a Multiplayer system. The gameplay is about 100+ hours and you have a lot of characters, Yuri, Estelle, Rita, Karol, Judith, Raven and Repede. (There was also the PS3 version only on Japan where they added a new character Patty Fleur, a pirate kid, and Flynn was also playable for more than 1 battle).
Tales of Vesperia is really good and you can easily get addicted to it since the characters learn lots of skills and you can have fun trying to max out your combos.

I a huge RPG fan and am hungry for a new rpg that I can get my hands on. I currently own Mass Effect 1 and 2, Kotor 1 and 2, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Dragon Age: Origins. I havent played Dragon Age, but i would really recommend the other two but with Fallout 3 get the Game of the Year edition lol i told about it in your other question, second with Dragon Age or Borderlands, well do you enjoy a single player story with alot of in depth gameplay with old semi- RTS controls?? Or do you enjoy the faster paced shooter, with some what of a story??
Ether way if you get borderlands i'd suggest having a few friends that have it, i mean its alright single player, but with 4 people is where it really shines, and get SUPER fun. Ya you can join into other peoples games, but its hard to find someone thats on the same quests with you, or you can set it up so others can join, but when people dont talk and just fly through it being a much higher level than you kinda takes out the fun. Ether way if you get Borderlands and your on the 360 then maybe we can join up and play i've got 3 people with us so far and been needing 1 more.
I would suggest Borderlands and Fallout I own both and love them. they are large games with good story's and many hours worth of game play, i also think that Dragon age is an excellent game but I would suggest getting it for the PC over a console. Depends on what you are looking for, borderlands is fun, but nothing like what they advertised. There is no customization (screw off with the "You can change the color of the peoples clothes), the weapons are not as "cool" as they claimed, not can you "customize" the parts. Fallout, has an *** load of flaws, you'll really care if you are a long time bethesda fan, a savvy consumer, or an intellectual gamer. But they are flaw you can forgive if you will let yourself... however... the XP's suck, and don't really add much to the game, aside from 3 hours of play a piece and OP crap gear.
DAO on the other hand, is great, the storyline is good, there are MULTIPLE ways to specialize and play each class... the only part of the game I dread (I have beaten it about 5 times now) is the stupid *** mini-level in the mage tower... it's tedious and stupid, but a whopping 2 hours of the experience at most. As well, the xp's offer some cool stuff (shale being the least of them). If you go the DAO or Fallout route, I suggest playing through either the first time without the expansions, then using those for subsequent runt throughs.
Hope my opinions are helpful.

On the PC, you might be able to get the Thief games through Steam or Good Old Games - you're not an assassin though but these are still considered some of the best FPS titles for the PC.

I was playing Dragon Age today and walked away for a few minutes with the console still on. My 2 year old closed the entertainment center doors while I was in the other room and when I came back I didn't notice. Started playing again and the xbox made a weird noise and crashed. No audio or video. No RRoD. Console was very warm when I discovered what happened. Let it cool down and it will load the dashboard, but crashes again after I start playing a game. If your trading it in Gamestop, DON'T! In Gamestop they barely give you anything for trading in games. I'm not sure about the 3 games for $10 thing, since when i went during that they gave me $17.75 for 7 games -_- when I was hoping for atleast $20. Worst games are star wars games, seriously, they sound good, but they are terrible.
I dont like 3rd person shooter games too like Kane and lynch, hard to aim,
Dead Space and Rainbow6 vegas, too hard.
Wolfenstein is terrible too, as always confusing, makes me lost.
Bioshock was good, but got tired of it, and I hate it that I had to go back to the same place again and collect things to finish the level.What are good games for XBOX 360 and Playstation 3?
Hrm...I probably shouldn't post on this question because I don't have a 360 or a PS3, but I really really wanted to say this: Get Psychonauts for XBOX. It's all backwards-compatible anyways, right? Psychonauts is seriously the best game I've ever played, and the storyline is incredibly fun, twisted, and hilarious.
RPG: Very hard, you mentioned all the latest and greatest so I suggest Lost Odyssey for the X-Box 360.
Shooter: Hands down Call of Duty 6 for either the PS3 or 360
Sport: Smackdown Vs RAW 2008 or 2010, not 2009 for 360. If you don't like wrestling then Fifa 2010 for either the PS3 or 360.

your more rpg than anything. sorry for what you want cant really help you out, try call of duty modern warfare 2, but you may not like it so just dont go by it cause i say its good. there really arnt many good rpgs out this month

What games should i get for the xbox 360?
I need some new games. I like games like: Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion, Fallout 3, Mass Effect 1+2, Borderlands, Godfather 1+2. Basically games where you can customize your character and upgrade skills. Well, Dragon age is personally my Favorite game. You should try it on the hardest mode if it isn't HARDCORE enough for you soldier. Dragon age is all about making all the right moves. Not just pressing one button after another.

Sacred 2 fallen angels quite epic and you can spend about two hours doing the first 10 main quests and there are all sorts of stuff. fable 1 is always good. alpha protocol is another espionage rpg thats quite good.
