Dragon Age 2 Demo opinions?

K so as many of you gamers know bioware launched the Dragon Age 2 demo for xbox 360 yesterday. I just wanna know what you guys thought of it, was it bad? was it amazingly mindblowing? was it alright?? Which class do you like/ think will kick ****?

I absolutly loved it, sure it was a tad choppy in some cases but other then that not that bad of a demo. I beat it 6 times the day it came outDragon Age 2 Demo opinions?
I actually play it for the PC, so my experience may be slightly different from yours.

Unlike many others, I actually disliked the change from the slower, more realistic slicing graphics to the jumping, spinning, crazy graphics of fight games. Those belong in lesser games that can't boast a bioware plotline.

However, I LOVED the changes to the main character. The fully-narrated main character is really neat and the wheel actually makes it more interesting to listen than just read and move on during cutscenes.

The attacks do look so much cooler.

The overall "scenic" graphics took a dive. I found this to be a shame, as I loved seeing the intricate details in the world around me in DA Origins.

Finally, the plotline: I honestly felt that it made no difference whether you could play as another race or anything like that. It's easier, though probably less-replayable, to have just one character. I was really sad when I saw Bethany (I think that was her name?) killed off so early in the game. I wish she had more of a place in this game.

Other than that, all I can say is that DA 2 is shaping up to be a worthy successor to the first.Dragon Age 2 Demo opinions?
For me it was a mixed bag. The story and characters looked like the COULD develop into something interesting. The gameplay was serviceable but not phenomenal. I found the controls (on PS3) to be a little less responsive than I'd like.

My biggest gripe would have to be the graphics. Now I know, I know, graphics aren't the MOST important part of a game, but come on, in 2011, I expect a little bit better than this. Don't get me wrong, the art direction was a notable step up from the first game, but the graphics engine doesn't seem to live up to the design potential, which is a shame. Choppy framerate, bland environments (come on, one sickly tree and some dirt is not a background), and the like really dampened the experience for me. I'm sure it's better on PC, but I doubt it's amazing. I don't get how Mass Effect 2 can look so good and this game can look so dated. Step it up, Bioware.

On the plus side, it seems like every female character in the game (with the exception of Hawke, if you go the lady route) is stacked to the max. Great use of funding, imo.Dragon Age 2 Demo opinions?
I must say I love how the characters move more freely now. I played as warrior and I tried out the rogue which, YAY!!!!! Now I don't have to get behind an enemy to back stab them! Now I can click a button and POOF!

When I played Origins I started out as rogue, but towards the end I realized that my strategy seemed to lean more towards the warrior as I just attacked things head on (mostly b/c back stabbing took too much time), but now I can see I'm going to love the rogue. I also played the warrior (which was my main class) and for once, I liked the two handed weapon better than sword and shield (though I didn't get to try out dual weapons). As for mage, I might have to try that even though I'm not a magic based person.

I like how the interaction wheel is designed b/c in Origins sometimes I said something that sounded sympathetic to me, but apparently was evil....And , OUR CHARACTER SPEAKS!!!!!!!! WOO!!!!! So much better in my opinion all that's left is a renegade or paragon option during cut-scenes lol just kidding. Maybe.......

All in all the demo was wonderful, the graphics have definitely improved and it gives such a different feeling in the game.

As for fighting although it seemed easier to move around I was a bit rushed with all the Darkspawn attacking me and didn't really get to try out the system a whole lot...well suppose that's the point of a demo, but maybe i'll try it with a controller instead of my keyboard, just to feel the difference. Also the way the healing items/stamina items/etc are set up is a lot better than having to drag them into your limited tactical slots.

The leveling up is much better making it easier for me to see and choose what abilities I want to learn next. The one in Origins was fine, but now it's better.

There was only one problem and that was that when I talked to the templar guy (forgot his name, the husband) he did not talk (no voice present). Everyone else did, but of course i'm sure that will be fixed and no problem.

Other than that I'm definitely going to get this game, but now I have to choose between getting it for me, or my friend's birthday which is the day after it comes out....ah! Life can be cruel. The demo was amazing and I was even more excited when I remembered I get to romance Anders, and i'm sure you guys will be romancing Isabella or at least her bosums lol

IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THE DEMO YET, YOU MUST!!!!!!!!!!!! GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW: MIND-BLOWING
